Arthur Ernest Peach
was born in Peterborough in 1883 and moved with parents to London. The Census 1891 shows the family lived at 58 Baring St Parliamentary District of Hoxton & Urban District of Shoreditch. Arthur Ernest Peach was 7 years old at the census in 1891living in London.
After Arthur and Mary Ann Ford were married on the 4th August 1907 and residing at No 30 De Beauvoir Square in London, Mary Ann gave birth to three children: Arthur John 8th Feb. 1908; Emily (Cissy) 22nd Jan. 1909; and Mary Elizabeth 16th August 1910. Maisie Ada was the first Brisbane born Australian child on the 11th April 2012. So the journey most likely took place in 2011 giving at least 6 months for Mary to be prepared, a journey which lasted 30 -35 days at sea. The residence at De Beauvoir Sq which still exists today is quite prestigious which suggests they were financially prepared for the long journey and would have done so in comfort.
